Connect with Thrive Services
Through both Thrive Counseling for Healing and Connection & We Thrive Together
Getting Started
Starting therapy or relational work can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin.
If you’re ready for support — whether that’s individual therapy, couples work, family therapy, coaching, or a group — you’re in the right place. We’ll walk with you through the next steps and help you find the service and clinician that feels like the best fit. This page is the starting point for all services offered through Thrive Counseling for Healing & Connection and We Thrive Together. By completing the secure form through the Get Started With Us link, you’re sharing a bit about what you’re looking for so we can thoughtfully guide you forward. This form does not schedule an appointment. It allows our team to review your needs and connect you with the appropriate therapist or service.
We look forward to supporting you.
How the Connect Process Works
We believe therapy works best when the fit is right. Rather than automatic scheduling, we use a thoughtful review-and-match process to ensure you’re connected with the clinician and service best suited to your needs.
Here’s what to expect:
1. You complete the secure Connect form.
You’ll share what you’re looking for — whether that’s individual therapy, couples work, family therapy, or a group.
2. Our team carefully reviews your request.
We consider clinical needs, scheduling preferences, insurance or private-pay options, and therapist specialization.
3. We determine the best pathway forward.
Some clients are matched with a therapist through Thrive Counseling for Healing & Connection (insurance-based individual therapy). Others are guided toward services offered through We Thrive Together (private-pay couples, family, group, or intensive services).
4. We follow up with next steps.
If we’re a good fit, you’ll receive secure intake paperwork and instructions for scheduling your first session.
If for any reason we are not the best match for your needs, we will do our best to provide thoughtful referral guidance.
This intentional process helps create safety, clarity, and a strong foundation for the work ahead.

At Thrive, we don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all.
Our therapists have different areas of focus, training, and experience. Taking time to review your request allows us to match you with a clinician who is best equipped to support your goals, history, and preferences.
This is especially important for:
Trauma and medical-related concerns
Couples and family work
Children and teens
Clients seeking culturally responsive or Spanish-language services
Thoughtful matching helps therapy feel safer, more effective, and more connected from the start.
Thoughtful Matching for the Right Fit
At Thrive, we don’t believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all.
Our clinicians are trained in different modalities and specialize in working with specific populations — including trauma-informed care, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and families, play therapy for children, and culturally responsive and Spanish-language services.
Taking time to review your request allows us to thoughtfully match you not only with a therapist who feels like a good personal fit, but with someone specifically trained to support your goals, history, and the type of work you’re seeking — whether that’s individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, or a group experience.
This is especially important for:
• Trauma and medical-related concerns
• Couples and family work
• Children and teens
• Clients seeking culturally responsive or Spanish-language services
Thoughtful matching helps therapy feel safer, more effective, and more connected from the very beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I schedule an appointment on this page?
No. This form is a request to begin care. After you submit it, our team will review your information and guide you through the next steps, including scheduling the best fit therapist or referral out if we cannot meet your need.
How soon will someone respond after I submit the form?
We do our best to respond as promptly as possible within 24-48 hours. Response times may vary depending on availability and the information provided, but every request is reviewed with care.
Is this form secure and confidential?
Yes. The form on this page is secure and HIPAA-compliant. Your information is reviewed only by our intake team and used to help determine next steps in care.

What insurance plans do you accept?
We work with a variety of insurance plans, depending on the therapist and the type of service you’re seeking. When you submit the Connect form, please select the insurance you plan to use. Our team will review your request and help clarify coverage, options, and next steps. We do accept commercial Anthem, Aetna, United Health Care, and Medicare. We are not in network with Cigna or Tricare however, we can work with Out of Network Benefits for these insurances if they are available in your policy. We accept most Medicaid products. We do not accept Aetna Better Health.
Do you offer out-of-network benefits or superbills?
Some services at Thrive may be considered out-of-network, depending on the therapist and your insurance plan. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to submit claims to your insurance for possible reimbursement. It is important that you check your policy to determine the specifics of your out-of-network benefits.
Please indicate your interest in using out-of-network benefits when submitting the Connect form, and our team can help clarify options and next steps.
Do you accept Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)?
We do not participate in most Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). These programs often involve short-term or highly structured models of care that are not well aligned with the depth and continuity of therapy we aim to provide.
If you’re unsure about coverage options, you’re welcome to note this in the Connect form and our team can help discuss alternatives.
